A lot of pesticides are being used to kill the so-called harmful insects in order to grow the lovely crops. In reality, what’s taking place is that the pesticides that are being sprayed on these crops are ending up in the humans’ digestive system. Conserving water, includes recycling of waste water for a number of purposes, such as; cleaning, irrigating and manufacturing. Water is a finite and vulnerable resource which sustains life, local development and the environment.

One third of the food produced is wasted or lost. As a result, uneaten food ends up in incinerators rather than in composting and so it leads to the creation of additional pollution. On the other hand, one person out of nine still does not have sufficient access to food today. So, we should act fast and promote ways to reduce food waste in the first place.
