This is how traditional and old buildings are being buried among high modern buildings. Old houses, which were so typical of the Maltese village are being pulled down and replaced by huge apartments reaching for the sky. Even the beautiful Maltese stone is being replaced by the dull concrete bricks. Such a pity!

A no-longer-so-new kind of tree … a new alien species that we can’t seem to be able to get rid of any time soon. The Greed Tree. Soon there will be more of the Greed Tree than the Natural Trees.

Trash Everywhere!

Many times, we find what is called accidental or unintentional litter, which usually falls from full up trash can, collection vehicles and pickup trucks or trash that is blown away by the wind. But this is surely not accidental. No one like to find trash at his door but it has to start with us – to dispose of trash properly.

Irresponsibility and egoism at its best. When one has just eaten out and left all their trash there for others to clean up. All that was needed was for everyone to pick their own litter and throw it in the bin a couple of meters away.

When they were called disposable cups, they didn’t mean that once you’re ready you can leave them lying around!! It’s already bad enough that they are single use cups … but leaving them around littering the area is even worse.
