Caption: As part of the Ekoday activities held at our school on the 15th of March 2018, we invited a local artist forming part of the band Tribali. Students, accompanied by parents, brought with them used plastic and metal containers to re-use them as musical instruments- shakers and bongos. Peter Paul Galea, the musician, assisted by Simon Curmi an official from Wasterserv, conducted a percussion session where students enthusiastically played their musical instruments forming harmony from scrap material. Although this is just one small action, it will certainly have a large impact on waste minimisation eventually reducing landfill use.
