By implementing a number of suggestions we can help to safeguard the environment and make the world a better place to live in. Nowadays almost every electronics manufacturer is making greener electronics. All we need to do to reduce the computational environmental footprint is to follow these tips as well as any other suggestions made by the manufacturers themselves and we will be already making a difference! Despite the cold wind and heavy clouds that Saturday morning we set out to visit the Blind Giants. Although now forgotten by most, these Giants were once very important for showing the way to our ancestors. Scattered around the hamlets and rural area of Mgarr, Malta, we visited eight of these Giants. Our aim is to let both tourists and Maltese known about these Giants and their importance in the past. At the same time to visit our trail which will be published on a leaflet and donated to the surrounding Local Councils to admire the beautiful landscape found between one Giant and the other!

There are a lot of signs around Malta informing people that they should not leave any waste but they still do. This article is ironic for the writer is assuming that such people have a poor eyesight and need to have their eyesight checked. Reference is also made to the need for us all to generate less waste.

This article treats the disposal of plastic trash by the beach. It considers the fact that disposal of such trash by the sea is important not only for other people to enjoy a clean environment but also to safeguard marine life that could be harmed by this waste if washed out at sea. Consulted research showed that plastic decomposes in a year in the warm sea, contrary to what we might think. Then it could easily be ingested by sea creatures or washed ashore in other places to the detriment of people on that shoreline
