Quarrying is a method used for the production of tarmac, building rocks and other materials in which during the production of these materials, harmful toxins are released from the many machines used.

Pollution is a very big problem in the world. It causes a lot of damage to the environment, even to the air we breathe. This is very dangerous. Factories and cars (and all vehicles that run on gas) are our biggest problem. Factories cause a lot of pollution and pollute the air badly. The factories' chimneys release a lot of poisonous fumes that can cause asthma and lung cancer.

Look at the world around us. As the years pass, the temperature rises thus the air around us gets warmer. With the greater demand for electricity, more fossil fuels are burnt to produce enough electricity for us to live comfortably and have a luxurious life. Fossil fuels such as natural gases, when burnt emit gases like sulfur dioxide and carbon dioxide into our atmosphere which are increasing the green house effect.
