A group of students dedicated their time, energy and creativity to make better use of unwanted pellets. With the support of our school community they have created this colourful bench, sending a message that there can be various uses to unwanted material. In this way they also made the school grounds more pleasant to be in.

Satiated Decorating the Sliema promenade was this unsightly mess. Just because a person has finished lunch and had his/her fill, does not mean that he/she can throw away the remains. The different types of waste shown in this photo are signs of irresponsibility. While we encourage anyone to recycle metal, plastic, paper and glass objects, we strongly urge to adopt the mentality of re-using and reducing.

The students who worked on this article decided to present it in poster form so that the information given is presented briefly, to the point thus catches the readers’ attention. The drawing on the poster was done by Chloe Merlevede. The poster encourages the public to make use of reusable masks rather than disposable masks which when thrown away add to litter in our environment.
