Tourism can offer both advantages and disadvantages to a country. On a positive note, tourism can bring with it economic gains, jobs, investment, improvements to travel infrastructure, as well as an increase in a location’s international visibility. However, tourism can have a negative impact on a country especially in respect of the environment and its natural resources.
