Seems like a fun game looking for cigarette butts and microplastics and other trash in the sand but when you look at the amount of trash gathered then it’s not fun anymore. This was taken during a beach clean up. The number of cigarette butts collected was enormous.

A turtle called Mayo is released back to the sea after months of rehabilitation. Everyone who had the opportunity to attend was so happy. But this would not have been needed if it wasn’t for human egoism. Mayo had ingested a fishing hook and was injured as well. Once again, we have human egoism leaving a bad impact on the environment. It’s a pity these beautiful creatures must suffer because of this.

In a world where everything is needed instantly, and time seems to go by so fast, disposable items seem to be the best solution. Or maybe it’s just laziness because it’s easier to just throw away. But what a problem to the environment this DISPOSABLE GENERATION is becoming!!

Unfortunately, trees and open areas are constantly being sacrificed for the so-called progress and development. The article talks about a over-developed area were the only remaining trees are in danger of being removed too.

Tourism is very important to keep the economy going. Many places in the world rely heavily on tourism as a key source of income and employment. Unfortunately, tourism can also be a source of problems, especially if it is not managed well. Sustainable tourism is an industry committed to making a low impact on the environment and local culture, while helping to generate future employment for local people. Sustainable tourism is composed of three pillars which are: Social Justice, Economic Development and Environmental Integrity.
