Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) at Xrobb l-Għaġin (XGĦ) Nature Park and GLOBE Malta launched the GLOBE COOLING DOWN Students’ Investigation to collect and share ground surface temperature (ST) data from around the Maltese Islands and hence explore the Urban Heat Islands Effect (UHIE) across the islands. Gozo College Middle School Victoria, St Thomas More College Żejtun Primary School B and ESD at XGĦ collaborated to explore whether location and other factors affect the STs of similar surfaces in three different locations.
