Trees have been with us throughout our lives. They make our lives healthy and better. Trees, like plants, store carbon dioxide, helping to slow down the greenhouse build-up in our atmosphere, that has been warming our planet. Paper production is adding further pressure on the world forests, that are already at risk. In future, it can only get get worse.

The beauty of our Maltese nature has been ruined by some egoistic people who have dumped garbage, mostly jablo, in our environment. Jablo is an everlasting material which can never be eliminated thus the probability is that it will either end in the sea or it will be scattered all over the countryside.
