Three turtles released back into the sea. What is their story?

The article was written after we attended one of the turtle release events organized by Nature trust. I describe the story behind the turtles in question and how our irresponsible behavior cause terrible injures to these turtles who had to pass through a period of rehabilitation before getting released back into the wild. The injuries caused were due to our fishing practices and waste dumped. It was a very emotional experience for all of us.

The image shown in the photo was built with all the waste that we found during a beach clean up, including the two dolls in the middle. This shows our love and addition for the plastic and other waste that is surrounding and suffocating us without us even realizing it.

This photo was taken on a sandy beach during a clean up event. This pile of discarded fishing gear can kill a lot of sea creatures since they get tangled in them or swallow them and die. No one is responsible for these nets since they do not have a known owner and are call Ghost nets with cause what is known as Ghost fishing.

This photo was taken during one of the Turtle release events we attending to during this year. The event was followed by a clean up session on the beach where we found this pile of lost fishing nets. This lump of dangerous material causes damage to all sort of living sea creatures and this photo shows how invasive our behavior is. It contrasts with the beautiful natural landscape of the place.
