Grandparents Day Orange Juice Day and EkoGames

The activities carried out during Grandparents Day, including Orange Juice and Lemonade Day and the Ekogames, were shared with the wider school community through photos, a short video, and a photostory. During the event, students actively participated in preparing fresh orange juice by juicing the oranges themselves and responsibly discarding the waste in the organic bin, promoting environmentally friendly habits. The oranges were generously donated by students and also by a Parliament representative, showing strong community involvement. Prior to the activity, a special assembly was organised to inform the whole school about the benefits of drinking fresh orange juice and making healthy lifestyle choices. During the Ekogames, children designed and participated in activities such as a waste separation relay race, sorting games, “Catch the Garbage Monster,” and a waste management quiz, promoting environmental awareness in a fun, active, and engaging way.
