Every person throws away an average of four meals per week. Ironically, this food was thrown away instead of being used for other purposes, such as; feeding animals. A large amount of food is being produced without considering how much of it is being wasted. We should use food wisely in order to reduce waste and care for others.

In Birkirkara among the houses it stood practically one of the few fields in this town, with carob trees. 2017 was the dead sentence to these trees as MEPA approved the permission to this field to be built. These trees were massacred by the machinery to let place for flats and penthouses. The carob tree is noted for living for hundreds of years, surely lived through these years among those people, the day permission was granted, the Carob tree cried for the last time.

For sure this this house, is not camoflage with the surroundings. Walking from Delimara in the beautiful countryside, your attention is drawn on this house with such contrasting colours. The owners are in love with pink but do this colour respect the surroundings? Where is MEPA in such cases for regulation about such colours in the countryside?
