The snail cuddled himself up in this shelter for protection from Pollution.

The snail is hidden behind the leaf giving the impression that he is hiding away from the noises around and also not to be caught by people and finish up being eaten. In fact people who search for the snails also destroy rubble walls which is a habitat to many different animals and insects.
