The Students’ Council at our school wanted to create a game related to the theme of ‘Peace and Harmony’ which was the theme of our annual exhibition this year. The students met regularly to discuss ideas for a game that could promote peace and make their peers better aware of various processes that help reduce conflict and establish peace. The Students’ Council also wanted to introduce the school to Computer Games that may lead students to better understanding of Global Conflicts, like Global Conflicts: Palestine and Global Conflicts: Child Soldiers. Gaming is fun but it may also be a first step to opening a window for Peace.

At school we are organizing an exhibition from 3rd April to 7th April 2017 on the theme ‘Peace and Harmony’. With our teacher of geography we wrote letters to children on the move. We wanted to support other children that are suffering from serious problems in their countries. These children are less fortunate than us but they are still happy and always with a smile on their face. This is the loveliest thing that we found about these children who are passing from mountains of problems in their lives!

The Kalkara Public Garden is a beautiful place, although it is quite small the garden is filled with colourful flowers that surround tall, green trees. However, most people who come and visit this place leave behind garbage and other items which do not belong in the garden.
