On a daily basis, we buy and use various products. But have you ever thought where, by whom, and under what conditions they were produced? Have you ever wondered if your choice is fair with those who produced that product? And how your choice affected the environment? This video about Fair Trade was produced as part of the Young Reporters for the Environment competition 2019 being produced by Marie Therese Pavia and Aidan Gauci (University of Malta, Ġ.F Abela Junior College). Our students carried out research online about the dangers that single-use plastics pose to our environment and to our planet. After they went to a local greengrocer armed with their mobile phones and asked for some items at the deli counter, educating the server in the process about the wastefulness fo double-bagging shop items. This video was then edited using Movie Maker 10.

Bejn l-Imnajdra u Ħaġar Qim hemm passaġġ iffrekwentat minn Maltin u turisti. Dan il-passaġġ huwa xi ftit perikoluż minħabba li qiegħed f’ livell aktar għoli mil-bqija tal-art tal-madwar, għalhekk huwa faċli li t- tfal jaqgħu fil-ġenb tiegħu kif wieħed jista’ jara fir-ritratt. Nissuġġerixxi li l-ġnub jimtlew bil-ħamrija biex jieħu l-istess livell u fl-istess ħin jistgħu jitħawwlu xi pjanti, b’ hekk ikunu qed isebbħu l-ambjent.
