Reusable present wrappings – a gift to the environment! The video is a collaborative online project between the students of the Eco committee of Immaculate Conception School who used their wits and knowledge of online platforms to create a campaign aimed at reducing gift wrapping paper by offering simple but creative alternative gift wrapping ideas. These include reusing old fabric in order to design and sew reusable fabric bags which can be passed on with the gift itself. Everyone loves gifts, including our environment! #YREstayshome https://www.facebook.com/ICStarxien/videos/2624974264416463/

This video was aimed to make people reflect on our air, land and marine pollution. It shows photos of how Malta improved in this regard as long as a lot of people were staying indoors during the partial pandemic lockdown. This video also shows the present reality and it creates awareness of how important and necessary it is to put our efforts and keep up this level of pollution at a lower level. This photo was taken by a student while at home. She planted this plant and she thought of doing a little reflection. “If everyone does his/her best to plant more plants and trees” she says, “the environment will be much better in the coming future!”
