This photo shows a snail shell that has become home to a centipede. In nature, empty shells often provide shelter for small animals, giving them protection and a safe place to live. Even tiny creatures like centipedes play an important role by helping control pests and recycling nutrients in the soil. This image reminds us that every part of an ecosystem is important and that nature reuses its resources. By protecting habitats and leaving natural spaces undisturbed, we can help support the lives of small but important creatures.

This photo shows a poppy flower just beginning to open, revealing its petals. Wildflowers like this are very important for nature. They provide nectar and pollen for bees, butterflies, and other insects, helping pollinate plants and supporting the food chain. Wildflowers also help maintain healthy soil and increase biodiversity in fields, gardens, and natural areas. Protecting them and letting them grow naturally helps wildlife to survive and keeps ecosystems balanced. By planting and caring for wildflowers, or simply avoiding disturbing them in the wild, we can make a big difference for the environment.

We have an aquaponics system that shows a way of growing food while saving resources. In the first photo, water from the fishpond flows into the aquaponics tanks, carrying natural nutrients from the fish. In the second photo, the plants are growing in the tanks, using these nutrients to stay healthy without the need for soil or extra fertilisers. In the third photo, the water is filtered through the system and returns to the fishpond cleaner than before. This system helps show how food can be grown in a more efficient way by reusing water, reducing waste, and avoiding harmful chemicals. It also demonstrates how natural systems can work together to support both plants and fish in a balanced environment.
